St Lawrence School – Foliage Clearance and Flatpack Assembly – Tuesday 9th – Thursday 11th April

Tuesday April 9, 2019 10:00 am

Come and help love St Lawrence School with a few little jobs.

To be done sometime between Tuesday 9th and Thursday 11th April, depending on availability of volunteers. Estimate 4 hours work, but dependent on number of volunteers

Firstly, there’s a little green-fingered gardening job to do. Cutting back brambles and other unwanted foliage from various parts of the school grounds. Requires use of secateurs and/or larger ‘loppers’. Need heavy duty gardening gloves and complete body cover-up with old clothes. The school will provide us a skip to dispose of the clippings.

Secondly, assemble up to 3 outdoor ‘flatpack’ table tennis tables. A substantial amount of assembly, mainly with nuts and bolts. How fun! Require 2 adults who are confident with assembly using spanners, who will work under instruction of the caretaker who has already assembled one.

Tony Harris from St Paul’s church is leading this project. Sign up to get involved or to get in touch with Tony.
