#LoveMolesey

This year’s #LoveMolesey will be from Monday 24th March until Saturday 20th April 2025! 

The churches together in Molesey will run a series of events and activities all aimed at offering acts of kindness and service to our wonderful community of Molesey.  Here are details of the amazing events we have planned across the community:

Monday 24th March

Kingdom Come, 8pm

Kicking off the #LoveMolesey month with a night of worship and prayer.

St Peter's Church, West Molesey

Friday 28th March

Film Night, 7pm for 730pm start

Come and watch a popular film with us!

East Molesey Methodist Church, Manor Road

Saturday 29th March

Big Bounce Family Event, 10am-1pm

Bouncy Castles, Craft Activities, Lunch, Tea and Coffee & more! No need to sign up, just turn up!

St Peter's Community & Youth Hub

Games Day, 11am-4pm

Enjoy playing games? Uno, Draughts, Monopoly, Jenga…or just a good ol’ card game!! Then why not pop along to our ‘Games day’. Play an old favourite or learn a new one. Feel free to bring one of your own to share with others! All ages welcome!

Come and help us to clear up the neighbourhood. Meet at St Paul’s Church, bring gloves – all equipment provided. No need to book a place - Just turn up!

Wednesday 2nd April

Thames Stroll, 2pm

We'll be taking a leisurely walk along the Thames, from Molesey lock to Hurst Park and back, a distance of about 2 miles. It's very flexible, so some could go a bit further, and some could turn back sooner. It's a chance to meet others, chat and enjoy the wonderful river views. We'll also try out one of the refreshment stops on the way! No need to book, but it would be useful to know who is coming, especially if we need to cancel due to bad weather.

Thursday 3rd April

Sing Song!, 10.30am

Come and join a singing group who will entertain the residents of our local care home with popular songs from the 50s and 60s. Meet at 10am at St Paul’s Church for a rehearsal – no need to book!

Pottery painting for everyone, 10am - 2pm

Easter pottery and crafts cafe. Unleash your creativity - items start from £6, just turn up!

A playgroup for dads (+ bacon butties!)

Loads of books, CDs and DVDs plus refreshments too

Tuesday 8th April

School Gardening, 10am-4pm

Molesey Local History society exhibition, 1pm-6pm

The Society has now been in existence for eighteen years and we are holding an exhibition

at which we will display much of the material that we have obtained and prepared during our research over the years, for example, The Floods, Molesey during the Second World War, The Carnival, Sport on the Hurst, Hampton Court Bridge, Molesey Then and Now, Molesey Boat Club, Education, The Flood Alleviation Scheme, Molesey’s Enclosure Story, Taggs Island and St Paul's Church Artifacts.

Free for Society Members & Children. £1 for Non-Members. Refreshments will be available
